Millwork Administrative Technician

About the role

Boise Cascade has an opening for a Millwork Administrative Technician. This role may require specific knowledge of functional area processes, procedures, products, policies, and programs.

Responsibilities

• Completes, organizes, and coordinates data, information, and activities for the functional area and/or cross-functional areas.
• Manages PPE inventory and replenishes as necessary.
• Maintains up-to-date OSHA Policy binders.
• Books safety events such as annual audiograms, noise level surveys, CPR, AED, First Aid training, etc.
• Compiles information, writes, edits, proofreads documents and reports.
• Answers mail and phone inquiries.
• Handles filing and data entry.
• Prepares briefs, outlines, agendas, and presentations from publications, regulations, and documents.
• Responds to internal and external customer needs.
• Demonstrates strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or two (2) years equivalent work experience.
• Office environment with minimal physical exertion.

Preferred Qualifications

• More than three (3) years of experience in a related job function.
• Technical certification or associate degree may be required.
