Seeking a reliable Junior Milling Line Operator to join our production team. This role involves operating milling and CNC lines, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe work environment. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and dedicated to high performance. Schedule Monday–Friday, 5:00am–3:00pm. Weekly overtime is required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate milling and CNC production lines for manufacturing parts
  • Set up woodworking and plastics processing machines; troubleshoot issues
  • Utilize computers for machine programming and material transactions
  • Work with both Imperial and Metric measuring systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
  • Manage inventory movements and documentation
  • Assist in quality control and collaborate with team members
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness on the shop floor
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Dependable and punctual; occasional second shift work possible
  • Effective team player and communicator
  • Basic computer literacy and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work with measurements and technical documents
  • Strong attention to detail and safety focus
  • Problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education a plus
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with production equipment
  • Experience with woodworking/plastics machinery preferred
  • Basic reading, writing, math, and technical drawing skills
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
