Operator in Milling Equipment

About the role

The position is eligible for an incredible sign-on bonus of $1,000 paid at hire and another $1,000 paid after 13 weeks of work.

Responsibilities

• Operate several types of power construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Specifically, operate utility milling machines (concrete or asphalt), skidsteer, belly brooms, pulverizers/recyclers, etc.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• CDL required.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Tolerate and work in variable weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments.
• Member of the appropriate trade union or willing to become one.
• Two years previous work experience in asphalt/concrete road milling.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in various locations throughout the local area or the state.
• Reliable transportation or willingness to travel to any job site is required.

Skills

• Knowledge of power construction equipment.
• Ability to operate and maintain various types of machinery.
