Responsibilities
- Analyze the performance of DoD programs and systems.
- Identify capability gaps, develop requirements, and generate solutions for complex warfighting challenges.
- Assess the operational utility and technical feasibility of new technologies.
- Analyze vulnerabilities and threats to critical platforms and systems.
- Conduct quantitative analysis and modeling of naval forces and their missions.
- Apply advanced principles to analyze trends in big data to solve real-world problems.
- Utilize SPA's proprietary simulation systems to support operations, experimentation, and acquisition analysis.
- Prepare and present deliverables, including written reports of findings and recommendations.
- Participate in customer meetings and briefings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in math, engineering, physical science, operations research, data science, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of professional experience in naval operations via industry, government, or military service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize and present complex analytical findings to a variety of audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and apply logical, methodical analytic approaches.
- Top Secret / SCI clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience analyzing metrics and conducting operational or technical risk assessment or root cause analysis, especially in the areas of undersea warfare.
- Experience directly interacting with, briefing, and advising DoD or armed service decision-makers.
Pay
California, Pay Transparency Salary range: USD $180,000.00/Yr. - USD $215,000.00/Yr.
