Midlevel Corporate Associate - Capital Markets & Public Companies

About the Role

Fenwick is seeking a mid-senior level corporate associate with four to six years of experience advising public companies or investment banks for our Capital Markets and Public Companies group. This position is available in any of our Bay Area (Silicon Valley or San Francisco), Seattle, Santa Monica, New York or Washington D.C. offices.

Responsibilities

• Advise public companies with respect to SEC compliance, disclosure, governance and exchange matters
• Represent either issuers or investment banks in capital market transactions, including IPOs, SPACs, direct listings and follow-on offerings

Qualifications

• Four to six years of relevant experience
• Experience must include advising public companies with respect to SEC compliance, disclosure, governance and exchange matters, as well as representing either issuers or investment banks in capital market transactions, including IPOs, SPACs, direct listings and follow-on offerings
• Experience with, or affinity for, technology and/or life sciences companies is preferred
• Superior academic credentials
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
• Must be barred in the state of the office to which you are applying, or be eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam

Pay

• Anticipated range: $310,000 - $390,000
• Actual base salary offered may depend upon qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, certifications or other professional licenses held, and location
• Discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance
