Midlevel Corporate Associate - Capital Markets & Public Companies

About the role

We are seeking a mid-senior level corporate associate with four to six years of experience advising public companies or investment banks for our Capital Markets and Public Companies group. The role is available in any of our Bay Area (Silicon Valley or San Francisco), Seattle, Santa Monica, New York or Washington D.C. offices.

Responsibilities

• Advise public companies on SEC compliance, disclosure, governance and exchange matters.
• Represent issuers or investment banks in capital market transactions, including IPOs, SPACs, direct listings and follow-on offerings.

Requirements

• Four to six years of relevant experience advising public companies or investment banks.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• Admission to the bar in the state of the office where applying or eligibility to sit/waive into the next bar exam.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with, or affinity for, technology and/or life sciences companies.

Pay

The anticipated range for this position is $310,000 – $390,000. The actual base salary may vary based on qualifications, years of experience, education, certifications, location and other factors. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
