Midlevel Corporate Associate - Capital Markets & Public Companies

About the role

We are seeking a mid-senior level corporate associate with four–six years of experience advising public companies or investment banks for our Capital Markets and Public Companies group, in any of our Bay Area (Silicon Valley or San Francisco), Seattle, Santa Monica, New York or Washington D.C. offices.

Responsibilities

• Advise public companies with respect to SEC compliance, disclosure, governance and exchange matters
• Represent either issuers or investment banks in capital market transactions, including IPOs, SPACs, direct listings and follow-on offerings

Qualifications

• Four–six years of relevant experience advising public companies or investment banks
• Experience must include advising public companies on SEC compliance, disclosure, governance and exchange matters, and representing issuers or investment banks in capital market transactions (IPOs, SPACs, direct listings, follow-on offerings)
• Experience with, or affinity for, technology and/or life sciences companies is preferred
• Superior academic credentials
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
• Must be barred in the state of the office to which you are applying, or eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam

Pay

$310,000 – $390,000 base salary, depending on qualifications, years of relevant experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors. A discretionary bonus based on performance may also be available.
