About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated educator with a strong understanding of middle school mathematics concepts and curriculum standards. The ideal candidate will plan, deliver, and assess engaging instruction for diverse learners, demonstrating skill in differentiating lessons, integrating technology and educational resources, and employing effective classroom management strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with students, families, and colleagues. A commitment to ongoing professional development, participation in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), and the use of data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes is required.
Requirements
- Utah Educator License with Middle School Math Endorsement
- Professional Educator License awarded by the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) or eligibility to apply for an Associate Educator License (AEL) to participate in the Alternate Pathway to Professional Educator Licensing (APPEL) Program
- Proof of AEL or enrollment in a teacher certification program at a local university required before being added to the candidate pool
