About the Role

Part-time Accelerated Math Teacher for grades 5-8. Hours are approximately 25 hours per week. The teacher plans, instructs, and assesses lessons for four classes per day, with 15-20 students per class.

Responsibilities

• Plan, instruct, and assess lessons for four daily classes of 15-20 students each.
• Teach the standard Math curriculum for grades 5-8 in three years (grades 5-7).
• Teach Algebra to students in 8th grade.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree.
• Background in mathematics or a mathematics-related field.
• Must be a practicing Catholic.
• Prior successful middle school math teaching experience is preferred.
