Middle School Reading and/or Math Intervention Tutor

About the role

The Intervention Tutor position supports students, teachers, and other staff in creating a caring and safe environment for students, while assisting in activities to improve students' academic skills in reading and math.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in implementing a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with students and their parents
• Observe and document progress and relay that information back to teachers, administration, or other designees
• Implement developmentally appropriate academic activities based on needs under the direction of teachers, principals, or other designees

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate, listen, and work well with others in a team environment

Pay

$23.25/hour
