About the role

The Middle School History-Social Science teacher at Bernardo Yorba (OCSCS) at Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified will teach students in grades 6-8.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with state standards
• Assess student learning through various methods including tests, projects, and observations
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons and share resources
• Engage students in critical thinking and problem-solving activities
• Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

Requirements

• Valid California teaching credential
• Experience teaching middle school history-social science
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related field preferred
• At least three years of teaching experience
• Knowledge of current educational technology and pedagogical practices

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Benefits

$63,437 - $137,644 annually, depending on experience and credentials.
