Duties and Responsibilities
- Motivate and instruct students in the subject areas included in the School's curriculum in harmony with the stated philosophy of the School
- Prepare lessons, units, and materials to achieve above
- Nurture social and emotional development of each student
- Participate fully in the School's calendar of days and events
- Engage actively in curriculum development, design, and execution
- Cooperate and communicate with parents, staff, and School on the progress of each student's growth and development
- Accurately report student's progress regularly to parents and administration
- Participate actively in professional growth and development programs
- Attend and actively participate in all school meetings (e.g., staff, team, and committee meetings)
- Cooperate with other staff and parents in providing a superior educational experience for each student
- Encourage and help each student realize his/her unique potential
- Collegial relationship with fellow faculty and staff
