Middle School Creative Writing Teacher

Job Responsibilities

• Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Prepares for classes assigned, and shows written evidence of preparation upon request
• Establishs a standard of classroom behavior and maintains classroom management in and outside of the school
• Confer with parents, administrators, specialists, and appropriate resource staff to develop educational programs for students
• Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law and district regulations
• Plans and uses appropriate instructional strategies, assessments, activities, materials, and technology that reflect accommodations for the individual needs of students
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• Valid Teaching License
• Experience in an urban school preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree Required
