Mid Level Designer

About the role

This is a mid-level, full-time product design opportunity in Rosslyn, VA. Our client provides ecosystem-based collaboration services that help leading-edge organizations adapt to today’s technology landscape by turning user insights into workflows for continuous process innovation. You’ll work on Vulcan, a SaaS platform that helps defense and government organizations discover, evaluate, and transition capabilities supporting the joint national security mission. This is a chance to help shape a mission-critical product from the ground up, turning complex national security challenges into clear, intuitive workflows used by operators, government program offices, and industry partners.

• Requirements gathering and definition

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in product design, UX design, or interaction design
• Strong proficiency with Figma
• Experience conducting user research, gathering user insights, and translating findings into practical product improvements
• Experience with requirements gathering and definition, including clarifying business, user, and technical needs

Qualifications

• Experience designing SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, or complex internal tools
• Background working with products that support government, defense, national security, or other highly regulated environments
• Familiarity with workflows involving multiple user groups, including operators, program offices, external partners, or cross-organizational teams
• Experience translating complex or technical information into simple, intuitive user experiences
