Mid-Level Architectural Designer

About the role

Join our Boston office, where you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from different backgrounds on high-profile, large-scale projects that help shape the unique fabric of our city. You’ll also engage in global initiatives through our international office network.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the design process developing ideas, establishing design direction, and developing options that achieve programmatic goals
• Participate in presentations and meetings with clients or municipalities
• Take ownership of specific tasks or project components and lead individuals and team in design development
• Direct and develop design documentation including plans, sections, elevations, & details, evaluate material options, and coordinate with consultant team
• Manage construction delivery and work independently to respond to RFI’s, review submittals, complete site visits and prepare field reports

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills with high proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, visualization and graphics software
• Excellent graphic, written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of building codes, construction systems, and the permitting process
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
• LEED AP, CPHC/CPHD and Architectural Licensure preferred
• Great team player with excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
