Mid-Level Architectural Designer

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and provide daily oversight to design and technical development of one or more projects.
• Highly involved in design process working directly with team and principal.
• Cook up with clients, consultants and internal team.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables and day-to-day communication.
• Produce and oversee high-quality presentations, drawings, models and visualizations.
• Contribute actively to the design discourse and collaborative environment of the studio.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in all phases of the design process and demonstrable professional experience.
• Ability to deliver technical detailing and working drawing/information packages for tender and construction works.
• Developed skills in client communications, project scheduling, coordination with consultants and construction administration.
• Fluency with Rhino3D, Adobe Creative Suites, Enscape, Autocad.
• A proactive approach to working in a team or self-motivated working independently, you should be able to manage your own time and feel confident in a complex multi-faceted environment.
• Strong Communication skills.

Qualifications

The position will be offered on a fixed term contract initially. The starting salary will be negotiated in accordance with professional experience in a range circa $70k – 90k Candidates should be cleared to work in the US.
