Responsibilities
- Work autonomously to complete Design, Documentation and Construction Administration tasks on smaller projects, utilizing staff support as needed.
- Tasks include the preparation of drawings and specifications, field verification/assessment, making recommendations and writing reports.
- Leads and supervises the work of a team, mentoring and guiding junior-level staff throughout the process.
- Covers larger projects of greater complexity, coordinating closely with Project Technical Leads/PMs as required, to meet overarching project objectives.
- Conducts technical and design presentations to clients, agencies and stakeholders.
- Coordinates regularly with engineers, consultants and extended teams to ensure full coordination and timely delivery of all aspects of project.
- Able to coordinate directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinates with Project Technical Leads/PMs regarding project planning and staffing.
- Maintains understanding of project profitability and contract scope and identifies potential scope creep.
- Able to sell other services to existing clients and supports regional Business Development in a variety of market sectors and may assist in proposals and fee evaluations.
Qualifications
- Licensed and non-licensed candidates that meet these criteria will be considered.
- Professional degree in Architecture and 6 years minimum related work experience.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills and success working within a team.
- Schedule-driven, ability to plan work of team to meet deliverables.
- Ability to identify issues, research/assess options and problem solve independently.
- Knowledge of REVIT, Bluebeam, Procore and cloud-based Spec Writing software.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.

Pay
Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000
Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The salary offered will be determined based the successful candidates’ relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.
