About the role
PAYETTE is currently seeking Mid-level Architects and Designers to share in our passion for design. Challenging building types are the focus of our collaborative practice: higher educational facilities for science, research laboratories and healthcare facilities of all types.
Responsibilities
- Champion award-winning design and beautiful craft in buildings of intense habitation.
- Collaborate on challenging projects in university, healthcare, and laboratory design and renovation.
- Utilize computer expertise in Revit for project development.
- Apply strong design and graphics skills, knowledge of space programming, contract documents, and contract administration.
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and other architects through various mediums.
- Juggle multiple tasks, work on large teams, and meet deadlines.
- Contribute to the design process and significantly impact projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture degree or a Master of Architecture degree.
- At least four years of post-graduate, professional firm experience.
- Experience in project typology such as university, healthcare, or laboratory design and renovation.
- Computer expertise in Revit.
- Strong design and graphics skills.
- Knowledge of space programming, contract documents, and contract administration.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to work well under deadlines.
- Registration and LEED accreditation is a plus.

Pay
$79,000 - $131,000 annually
