Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer

Overview

We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer who will support our NYC client. The developer will design, configure, and deliver Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions that support enterprise business processes. The role will develop Power Apps, Power Pages/Portals, custom plugins, integrations, and secure Dynamics configurations while supporting reliable solution deployment across environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, including canvas apps, model-driven apps, and Power Pages/Portals.
• Configure and customize Dynamics 365 entities, views, dashboards, workflows, and security settings to support business requirements.
• Develop custom C# plugins using the Dynamics 365 SDK and custom workflows to automate complex business logic.
• Integrate Dynamics 365 with external systems and data sources using APIs, SQL, and web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and ASP.NET.
• Deploy and maintain Dynamics 365 customizations and solutions across environments while supporting testing, code quality, performance optimization, version control, and CI/CD practices.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Proficiency in core Microsoft Dynamics 365 concepts, functionality, and configuration.
• In-depth experience with Power Apps, including development of custom canvas and model-driven applications.
• Deep expertise in Power Apps with a strong focus on Power Pages and Portals development, including end-to-end design, customization, and integration.
• Proven ability to configure and customize Dynamics 365 entities, views, dashboards, workflows, and security settings.
• Experience creating custom plugins using the Dynamics 365 SDK to automate complex business logic.
• Experience deploying customizations and solutions to Dynamics 365 environments and integrating Dynamics 365 with external systems and data sources using APIs and custom workflows.
• Solid understanding of web development concepts and technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and ASP.NET.
• Proficiency in C# programming and SQL using various database sources.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools.
• Experience with performance optimization, code quality practices, and unit testing frameworks.
• Experience with version control platforms such as GitHub.
