MHN Desktop Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead for endpoint management, including desktops, laptops, virtual desktops, and select mobile devices
• Administer and support endpoint management platforms (e.g., Intune and related tools)
• Develop and maintain standard device configurations, security baselines, and deployment processes
• Manage endpoint patching, OS upgrades, and device lifecycle (including Windows 10/11 environments)
• Test and validate applications, drivers, and updates prior to deployment
• Partner with Information Security to maintain endpoint protection, encryption, and compliance standards
• Support identity and access integrations (Active Directory, Entra ID, device-based policies)
• Automate provisioning, onboarding, device replacement, and offboarding processes
• Act as an escalation point for complex endpoint and desktop-related issues
• Collaborate with Service Desk to improve support workflows and documentation
• Maintain accurate inventory, licensing alignment, and technical documentation
• Assist with audits and compliance efforts related to endpoint management
• Provide training and guidance to support teams as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in desktop and endpoint management
• Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 10/11
• Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools such as Intune, SCCM, or similar
• Strong understanding of network architecture, security protocols, and data privacy regulations
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
