Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical lead for endpoint management, including desktops, laptops, virtual desktops, and select mobile devices
- Administer and support endpoint management platforms (e.g., Intune and related tools)
- Develop and maintain standard device configurations, security baselines, and deployment processes
- Manage endpoint patching, OS upgrades, and device lifecycle (including Windows 10/11 environments)
- Test and validate applications, drivers, and updates prior to deployment
- Partner with Information Security to maintain endpoint protection, encryption, and compliance standards
- Support identity and access integrations (Active Directory, Entra ID, device-based policies)
- Automate provisioning, onboarding, device replacement, and offboarding processes
- Act as an escalation point for complex endpoint and desktop-related issues
- Collaborate with Service Desk to improve support workflows and documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory, licensing alignment, and technical documentation
- Assist with audits and compliance efforts related to endpoint management
- Provide training and guidance to support teams as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a desktop support or administrator role
- Proven experience with endpoint management tools such as Intune, SCCM, or similar
- Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 operating systems and virtual desktop infrastructure
- Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, and other identity and access management solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
