Desktop Administrator
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues across the site.
- Deliver high-quality support to both technical and non-technical users.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies within Active Directory.
- Support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Office applications) and Windows environments.
- Afford basic server and network troubleshooting.
- Assist with device lifecycle management.
- Perform system imaging, patching, and updates.
- Ensure devices meet corporate security and compliance standards.
- Serve as a key IT contact for local users and coordinate with central IT teams.
- Support business operations systems and infrastructure.
- Participate in IT projects and system upgrades.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Desktop and Active Directory.
- Experience with desktop hardware troubleshooting and upgrades.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- High school diploma required; college or technical certifications preferred.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in an on-site environment.
- Ownership mindset in resolving issues end-to-end.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced operational environment.

Schedule
This is an on-site position based in Kansas City, MO. On-call/after-hours support may be required. Limited travel is required.
