About the role

Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area. This position is for VCS SEP test supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment
• Plan and arrange labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices
• Provide test area with parameters for sample testing and specify tests to be performed
• Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements
• Test all customer samples and conduct special tests that cannot be performed in the test area

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 6 years of relevant professional/exempt experience
• Required certifications: Lead Test Engineer (LTE), Shift Test Engineer (STE), Ship Safety Officer (SSO), Inactivation Test Engineer (ITE) certification, or Shift Refueling Engineer (SRE)

• SEP-STE, LTE, or STE qualification

$141,000.00 to $177,000.00
