About the role
The Branch Manager oversees daily operations for one or more real estate offices, including agents and staff, with a focus on recruiting, developing, training, and retaining a high-performing team to drive profitability and growth.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage programs to meet or exceed operating objectives, including profitability, budget, revenue, transaction volumes, and core services utilization.
- Execute initiatives to achieve affiliate business goals (title, mortgage, insurance, relocation) and promote affiliated services to agents.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with affiliated services staff and communicate company programs, initiatives, and changes to agents and staff.
- Manage staff, including recruiting, training, evaluating, coaching, motivating, scheduling, and administering salaries.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to corporate departments and attend company meetings.
- Develop and execute strategies to recruit and retain sales associates, including coaching, mentoring, and business planning.
- Support agents in real estate transactions, resolve issues, and lead office sales meetings.
- Organize office activities and community outreach to boost morale and visibility.
- Maintain a positive office environment, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies.
- Stay updated on company policies, real estate regulations, and industry trends.
- Perform additional duties as needed to fulfill the role of Branch Sales Manager.
- Meet performance expectations, including productivity, quality, and professionalism.
- Build positive relationships with staff, customers, and business partners.
- Demonstrate technical and behavioral competencies required for the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience and knowledge.
- Licensed Broker.
- Documented history of sales success; real estate transactional expertise preferred.
- General business experience in sales, management, or administrative roles, including budgeting and business planning.
- Previous real estate sales management experience with a track record in profit management and agent recruitment/retention.
Skills
- Solid knowledge of state and federal real estate regulations.
- High-level technical and transactional real estate expertise.
- Proficiency in MS Office, real estate-related internet applications, and communication technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and handle concurrent issues.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
