About the Role
Depending on your location within the continental U.S., this role may be hybrid or remote. If you live within 50 miles of Aflac offices in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, you will work in the office at least 60% of the workweek, with the remainder remote. If you live more than 50 miles away, the role is fully remote, though occasional in-office visits may be requested based on business needs.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- 6+ years of professional related work experience
- 4 years in a supervisory/managerial capacity leading diverse work groups
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
- Experience in the insurance industry
Responsibilities
- Lead the Implementation function to close operational gaps between the business and third-party partnerships; ensure implementation requirements are reviewed, validated, and executed accurately.
- Oversee preparation and execution of account plan changes in coordination with account management and implementation teams.
- Manage renewal support activities, ensuring plan changes are completed accurately and aligned with strategic timelines.
- Provide leadership for the strategic implementation of block rate changes across Aflac platforms.
- Oversee implementation of plan changes for custom group business and applicable market segments.
- Establish and refine EDI change processes to support account management; provide governance, oversight, and guidance for system changes.
- Own and maintain business operations process flows and work instructions; ensure documents are current, accessible, and communicated to relevant partners.
- Serve as the point of escalation for implementation-related issues, coordinating resolutions with teams like Enrollment Platforms, Premier Broker relationship managers, and other internal partners.
- Partner with product owners and IT to review, refine, and document process flows; ensure documentation supports work instructions and operational consistency.
- Support onboarding of new administrators and platform relationships in coordination with appropriate business units.
- Guide account implementation and maintenance processes to align with business goals, compliance standards, and customer expectations.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to team members to foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and service excellence.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify process improvement opportunities for eligibility and plan change activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams for each business segment and channel to ensure seamless execution of eligibility processes.
- Establish standards and best practices for implementation processes, documentation, and change management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $130,000. Offers consider factors such as education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. This range does not include potential incentive pay or benefits.
