(EEO boilerplate, remove) - U.S. Citizenship may be required for certain positions. (maybe requirement) - Do You Need Assistance? ... (application instruction, remove) We need to produce sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to decide what goes where. About the role: maybe a brief summary of the role (the first paragraph after "The Role"? Actually "The Role Plans, organizes and manages..." is more responsibilities. Could treat that as Responsibilities. About the role could be a short description: maybe the introductory paragraph about the company? But they said "About the role" heading for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, etc. So we need to put something under About the role: maybe a summary of the position purpose. The posting includes "The Role Plans, organizes and manages the fire protection engineering function under senior management direction." That's essentially a summary. Could use that as About the role. Then Responsibilities could be the bullet list of duties. However the posting doesn't have bullet list; it's a long paragraph with many responsibilities. We could split into
  • items for each responsibility sentence. But we must preserve all substantive information; we can convert sentences into list items. Requirements: maybe the citizenship, clearance, shift, relocation, travel? Actually those are more metadata. Requirements could be education and experience: Bachelor's degree, 6 years experience, or Master's + 4 years, ABET accredited. Also US Citizenship required, clearance not required. Could include those. Qualifications: maybe the "Nice to Have" items? Or we could treat Requirements as mandatory qualifications, Qualifications as preferred? But spec says we can have both Requirements and Qualifications sections. We'll need to decide content. Skills: maybe the specific skills like NFPA, OSHA, communication, leadership, etc. Benefits: the benefits list. Pay: salary range. Schedule: shift (Full-Time, 1st shift), travel 10%-25%, relocation assistance, no telework. We must not create sections with placeholder text like "commensurate with experience". We have actual data. Let's extract. About the role: Could be: "Plans, organizes and manages the fire protection engineering function under senior management direction." That's a sentence. Could also include that it's responsible for directing all activities associated with fire protection engineering... but that's more responsibilities. We'll keep About the role short. Responsibilities: We'll break the long paragraph into bullet points. Let's identify distinct responsibilities: 1. Plans, organizes and manages the fire protection engineering function under senior management direction. 2. Directs all activities associated with fire protection engineering, including development and implementation of a comprehensive program to ensure effective monitoring of each operating site's activities to assess fire protection and life safety implications. 3.
