This role is hybrid. You will be expected to report to one of our Aflac offices located in Columbia, SC or Columbus, GA for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week.

Requirements
Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 6 or more years of job-related work experience
- 4 years in a leadership/senior/supervisory capacity
- Experience leading business and technological projects
Education & Experience Preferred
- Experience in the insurance industry
Travel: Less than or equal to 10%
Responsibilities
- Leads, coaches, and develops a team responsible for resolving complex operational issues, technical barriers, and escalated work items.
- Communicates organizational priorities and business objectives to drive team alignment, accountability, and performance.
- Oversees hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and development activities to strengthen team capability and cross-functional knowledge.
- Serves as the primary escalation point for critical and complex issues, driving resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Ensures timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery while maintaining operational standards and customer satisfaction.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional partners to support business objectives and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborates with business and technical teams to implement operational initiatives, process enhancements, and customer-impacting changes.
- Identifies and implements process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Develops and maintains operational procedures, business continuity practices, and supporting documentation.
- Evaluates operational impacts of business and technology changes and provides recommendations to support successful implementation.
- Monitors and reports operational and team performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Manages assigned projects, departmental initiatives, and other duties as required.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Pay
The salary range for this job is $100,000 - $120,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors including education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation.
