About the Role
Manages all biomedical technicians, functions, and activities within the assigned Piedmont Healthcare facility or facilities. Responsibilities include personnel management, regulatory compliance, customer service, and budget control. Ensures clinical equipment is repaired and maintained in the most cost-effective manner and that it is accurate for clinical diagnosis. Oversees EOC committee reports, surveys, and inspections from JCAHO/DNV and other regulatory agencies. Focuses on strong customer service across department lines through effective communication and relationships. Assists in aligning standard processes across the Piedmont Healthcare system.

- Manages all biomedical technicians, functions, and activities within assigned facilities, including personnel management and budget control.
- Ensures clinical equipment is repaired and maintained cost-effectively and accurately for clinical diagnosis.
- Responsible for EOC committee reports, surveys, and inspections from JCAHO/DNV and other regulatory agencies.
- Assures strong customer service and communication across department lines.
- Assists with aligning standard processes across the Piedmont Healthcare system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related Clinical Field Required.
- In lieu of a degree, six (6) years of additional experience beyond the minimum required may be accepted.
- Five (5) years of experience within a healthcare setting, with a minimum of three (3) years in a hospital setting Required.
- Experience within Biomedical Engineering Required.
- In lieu of a degree, eleven (11) years of experience within a healthcare setting, with a minimum of three (3) years in a hospital setting, and experience in Biomedical Engineering Required.
- One (1) year of supervisory or management experience Required.
