METALWORKING HELPER

Fechometal USA is seeking a dependable and motivated Metalworking Helper to support our production team. This role is essential to maintaining efficient operations and ensuring high-quality output. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, follows safety standards, and is eager to grow in a fast-paced industrial environment.

About the role

Full-time position based in Sanford, Florida with a schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting metal materials and finished products.
• Support machine operators by preparing materials and cleaning equipment.
• Organize and distribute tools, supplies, and materials for daily production tasks.
• Clean and prepare metal surfaces using grinders, brushes, and other hand tools.
• Assist in assembling metal components according to technical specifications.
• Perform basic inspections to identify defects or irregularities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and use required PPE at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels of consumables and report shortages.
• Complete basic production and maintenance logs as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in industrial or metalworking environments is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to learn.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
