Met-Sampler / Laboratory Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine analysis testing and operate laboratory equipment
• Collect samples from multiple sites and prepare them for analysis using appropriate techniques
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment
• Order supplies, track reagent consumption, and manage inventory of critical lab parts and chemicals
• Support plant operators as needed and provide technical assistance to staff and other departments
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards, including MSHA requirements, and participate in the review and update of laboratory safety procedures
• Manage laboratory cleanup and routine reagent preparation as directed
• Identify materials and equipment needed to maintain continuous operation
• Assist with the analysis of blast hole samples for copper and molybdenum determination

Qualifications, Skills, and Expertise

• Demonstrated knowledge in math, chemistry, and Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Awareness of occupational hazards and commitment to safe work practices
• Valid driver's license required
