Merchandiser Lead
About the role
A Lead Merchandiser assists the Merchandiser Manager with the coaching and development of the merchandising team through servant leadership. They will assist with interviewing and hiring candidates, conducting ride-withs, and providing feedback to employees. The Lead Merchandiser also develops and maintains relationships with customer accounts and salespeople, and helps plan team-building events.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Merchandiser Manager with interviewing and hiring candidates
- Conducting ride-withs to ensure lines of communication remain open and effective
- Providing continual feedback to employees
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customer accounts and salespeople
- Providing feedback to the Merchandiser Manager regarding personnel
- Helping the Merchandiser Manager refine routing for effectiveness and efficiency
- Working up to two Saturdays and Sundays a month to support Merchandisers in the market
- Performing Merchandiser duties as needed
Requirements
- One-year experience in the field or restaurant/retail liquor experience preferred
- Ability to teach, coach, and mentor
- Valid Driver’s License and maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver license, and maintain auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Company & state law

Schedule
