Merchandiser Lead

Shift and Schedule

  • Full-time
  • 6:00 am until work is finished
  • 5 scheduled shifts per week
  • Sunday-Thursday
  • Weekends required (days off fall during the week)
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Merchandise Store Activities

  • Shelving, cooling, and displaying merchandise in retail stores
  • Partnering with Sales Representatives/Managers to coordinate delivery and merchandising schedules
  • Building effective relationships with store personnel to ensure superior customer satisfaction
  • Identifying incremental sales opportunities for Sales Representatives to pursue
  • Providing feedback on competitor activities and best practices
  • Covering routes and providing sales and/or merchandising services as assigned
  • Available to work weekends and holidays
  • Following the 4-week training schedule established for merchandising team with new hires
  • Handling majority of swing merchandising needs
  • Training all merchandisers on best practices and helping them grow
  • Briefing frontline employees on scheduling and meetings
  • Responsible for an area equivalent to 3 normal Merchandising routes

Total Rewards

  • Pay starting at $19.66 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $20.64 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.
  • Benefits, subject to eligibility and collective bargaining agreements (where applicable): Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including vacation and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement (avg. 50mi/wk)

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in customer service, involving tasks such as resolving customer issues, maintaining effective communication with store managers, and responding to customer requests
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
  • Capability to push and pull up to 100 lbs repeatedly
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Access to a dependable and reliable vehicle
