About the role

The MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre is seeking a Venue Merchandise Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing an exceptional merchandise purchasing experience for all guests and fans in Live Nation venues, fulfilling orders promptly, and supporting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in inventory count-in and count-out procedures.
• Create visually appealing displays and price items correctly.
• Complete sales transactions for each guest.
• Support successful sales operations at each event.
• Contribute to a positive work environment.
• Perform physical duties as required by the role, such as moving equipment or transferring merchandise between locations.
• Take direction from their supervisor, the venue’s Merchandise Manager.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, supporting accuracy and completeness in order fulfillment.
• Quick-thinking, able to respond to guest requests.
• Guest-oriented, focusing on their requests.
• Team-driven, working as part of a larger unit.
• Patient and polite when interacting with guests.
• Self-starters that do not require significant supervision.
• Basic math skills - addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Requirements

• Available for the entire concert day, with shifts as long as 15 hours (with breaks).
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
• Able to work in outdoor environments in potential extreme temperatures.
• Have a working understanding of touchscreen based systems.
• Must be of legal working age in the state.
