Retail Account Merchandiser

About the role

Southern Glazer's Beverage Company is a leading player in the beverage wholesale industry. We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Sales Representatives, Merchandisers, Beer Distribution Specialists, Liquor Sales Representatives, and Warehouse Associates. Our corporate offices are located in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with retailers and distributors
• Manage inventory levels and ensure product availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize store layouts and displays
• Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs
• Train and support sales staff in effective product knowledge and sales techniques
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in sales, retail, or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
• Knowledge of beverage products and industry trends
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
