What You Will Do

• Prepare and serve food in accordance with established recipes, food safety standards, and customer service expectations.
• Support daily kitchen operations while maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and a positive guest experience.
• Prepare and portion food items according to approved recipes and menu guidelines.
• Aid with basic food preparation including chopping, cooking, and plating, and assist with inventory rotation, stocking, and proper food storage.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in all kitchen and service areas, including cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and workstations.
• Provide courteous and professional service to guests and coworkers.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, health, and company standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring To Freeport

• Must be able to obtain Arizona Food Handler’s Card/Certification within 1 month of employment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in the operation of a personal computer to include Microsoft applications
• Total guest experience and satisfaction
• Multitasking in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment required
• Ability to interact positively with the public essential to success

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Practical experience as a Line Cook or completion of a post-secondary Culinary Arts training program
• Two (2) years of experience in food preparation

What We Offer You

• The estimated pay range for this role is currently $16.00 - $20.50/hour.
• This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions.
• Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
