Summary
Mortenson is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee MEP scopes of work, develop customer relationships, and manage project schedules. The position offers opportunities at both level 1 and 2, with compensation based on experience and location.
Responsibilities
- Provide coordination, planning, and supervision for MEP scopes of work.
- Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service.
- Plan and implement to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule.
- Review construction documents for completeness and constructability.
- Review and understand contract documents.
- Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies.
- Participate in the development and management of project schedules, including three and six-week look-ahead schedules.
- Develop a site logistics plan.
- Manage the utilization of Mortenson tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with project partner superintendents.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in construction, Civil, or Architectural, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering or 10 years trade experience.
- Minimum 8 years of construction experience with two of those years having supervisory experience, preferably with a Mechanical or Electrical Contractor.
- Ability to fulfill all responsibilities for multiple, complex data center projects.
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks.
- Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.
- Microsoft Office skills at an intermediate level.
- Positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies.
- Active listening skills and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedback.

- Current driver’s license.

Pay Ranges
- MEP Superintendent I: Base pay range is $111,400 Min - $167,100 Max.
- MEP Superintendent II: Base pay range is $130,100 Min - $195,200 Max.
