Job Summary
Johns Servies & Sales is seeking an experienced Service Sales Manager to drive reoccurring revenue, retain customers, and develop new service accounts for the MEP service department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and present proposals for HVAC, plumbing, repair, and preventative maintenance/service agreements for commercial clients.
- Identify new business opportunities through prospecting and relationship building with facility managers, property managers, and building owners.
- Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular follow-ups, site visits, and performance reviews.
- Aid in the daily planning and coordination of service department operations to ensure timely project execution.
- Prepare repair and replacement estimates based on technician diagnostics, labor, and material requirements.
- Work closely with service managers, dispatch, and field technicians to ensure delivery aligns with quoted scope and customer expectations.
- Follow up with customers promptly after quotes are issued to answer questions and secure approvals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer communication within CRM systems.
- Promote a safety-first culture and ensure work aligns with company policies and industry standards.
- Support contract renewals and help develop long-term maintenance strategies that improve system reliability and reduce downtime.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of commercial HVAC or MEP sales experience
- Certain knowledge of Mechanical and Plumbing systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple quotes
- Fluent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
