Description
Be A Mentor is looking for caring, trusted adults to mentor the youth in their community. Young people are more at risk of dropping out of high school, drug use, entering the juvenile justice system now more than ever and they need your help to make a positive change in their lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and advocacy for the youth
- Mentors will spend at least 1 hour a week with their mentee for a full calendar year
- Activities include homework help, outdoor play, museum visits, and crafts
Requirements
This is an in-person group mentoring opportunity. Mentors must be available to meet at Willits High School.
Qualifications
Caring, trustworthy adults who can commit to spending at least 1 hour a week with a youth for a full calendar year.
