Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LCSW)

Responsibilities

• Conducting culturally sensitive assessments for diverse clients and families.
• Providing tailored outpatient individual and family therapy to promote healing and resilience.
• Developing crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to support client stability.
• Participating in case consultations, meetings, and discharge planning to enhance care.
• Completing billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations accurately.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to deliver holistic mental health care.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• Active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) or eligibility in Virginia or Maryland.
• Passion for mental health, ongoing professional development, and ethical practice.
• Strong communication skills, rapport-building ability, and effective time management.
