About the role
Join a dedicated mental health team as a Licensed Therapist, committed to improving community access to behavioral health services.
Responsibilities
- Conducting culturally sensitive assessments and providing outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to client needs.
- Developing crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to support client stability.
- Participating in case consultations, meetings, and discharge planning to enhance care quality.
- Ensuring timely completion of documentation, treatment plans, billing, and insurance authorizations.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, nurses, dietitians, and administrative staff, for holistic care.
Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
- Current active license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Effective time management and administrative skills.
