About the role

TLC, The Treatment and Learning Centers, is seeking licensed mental health clinicians (psychologists, psychology associates, and counselors) for PRN/Part Time positions (6 hours/week minimum) in their outpatient center in Rockville, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Prior experience working with young children and children with autism spectrum disorders preferred.
  • Work 6 or more hours per week. Hours available Monday-Thursday 4pm - 7:30pm, Saturday 8am - 2pm.
  • Flexible work hours and hybrid remote/in-person counseling available.
  • Access to engaging multisensory and play spaces for children, including a sensory room.
  • Case conferences with experienced clinicians.
  • High value placed on quality care, lending to a smaller caseload compared to the average outpatient setting.
  • Free parking.

Requirements

  • LCSW and maintain a current MD license;
  • LCPC or LGPC and maintain a current MD license;
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. or Psych Associate and maintain a current MD license.

Qualifications

  • Desire to work with clients of all ages, especially children ages 5-12 and families.
  • Experience with play therapy, client-centered therapy, CBT, and social skills group therapy preferred.
  • Interest and experience working with neurodiverse presentations including autism.
  • Flexibility in providing support to our other services, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, Outcomes Adult Services, and a nonpublic school serving prekindergarten through 12th grade.

Pay

Pay rate between $35 to $56/hour depending on experience and licensure.

Schedule
