About the role
Mentally healthy communities are vital to overall community health. As a 1099 contractor, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining provider networks that support mental health services in underserved areas across California.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with potential providers within the mental health field.
- Conduct outreach to potential providers to build and expand the network.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding mental health provider contracts.
- Manage and update provider information in the company’s database.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of new providers into the network.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in mental health provider contracting or related field.
- Knowledge of mental health policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to various locations in California as needed.
