About the role

Mentally healthy communities are vital to overall community health. As a 1099 contractor, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining provider networks that support mental health services in underserved areas across California.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with potential providers within the mental health field.
  • Conduct outreach to potential providers to build and expand the network.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding mental health provider contracts.
  • Manage and update provider information in the company’s database.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of new providers into the network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mental health provider contracting or related field.
  • Knowledge of mental health policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to various locations in California as needed.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
