Responsibilities
- Patient Observation and Monitoring
- Facilitating Therapeutic Groups
- Conducting Searches and Securing Contraband
- Assisting with Daily Living Skills
- Behavior and Milieu Management
Requirements
- Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Investigation
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Two years experience working in a psychiatric setting
- Handle with Care, Verbal De-escalation and CPR training (May be acquired after hire)
- Effective Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Teamwork
Qualifications
- Must be available to attend the full hospital and departmental orientations (Week 1: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM)
- Hours: Day Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM (Rotating Weekends Required) / Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM (Rotating Weekends Required)
