Mental Health Technician or CNA Full Time

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred and additional schooling in psychiatric/psychology related areas a plus.
• One year experience working with acute or chronic mentally ill clients, preferably in the inpatient hospital setting preferred.
• Physical strength and agility to assist with an agitated and disruptive patient; apply behavioral restraints in a quick and efficient manner; perform other routine physical functions of the job; and withstand unusual stress factors working closely with others.
• Requires mental alertness and the ability to think critically and react quickly in critical situations.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
