Position Summary
We provide the training, you provide the passion. Payrate $19/hr plus stacking shift differentials!! 12 Hour shifts available.
Position Duties & Responsibilities
- Welcome and admit consumers into the program
- Participate in the delivery of physical care to consumers
- Participate in the delivery of therapeutic care to consumers
- Observe, monitor and restrain
- Discharge planning
Qualifications
- Candidate must be 18 years of age or older in this direct service position as a Mental Health Technician.
- Education: Must be a high school graduate or have HS equivalent.
- No experience necessary. 1 years’ experience in mental health or health care field preferred.

- Must demonstrate knowledge of co-occurring disorders and appropriate interventions.

- Safety Sensitive Job Classification: This job is classified as a “safety-sensitive” position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.
- Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening.
- This position requires frequent repetitive motions to include but not limited to: bending, stooping, twisting, squatting, reaching, pulling, pushing and maintaining balance.
- Must be able to lift and/or maneuver a minimum of 50 pounds.

- Mental health technicians spend most of their time on their feet and are sometimes confronted with violent patients who must be restrained.
- Must be able to pass Therapeutic Options training and CPR.
