Mental Health Technician / Driver - Outpatient

We are hiring a dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our outpatient clinic team. You will support patients managing mental health and substance use challenges. You will work closely with our clinical staff to monitor progress, maintain a safe space, and assist with daily clinic operations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet clients, help them feel comfortable, and assist with their daily clinic needsObserve and document patient behavior, moods, and any notable changes. Report these to the licensed clinical teamAssist counselors in leading psychoeducational groups and daily therapeutic activitiesRespond quickly to crisis situations. Use safe and effective de-escalation techniquesSupervise patients to ensure their safety and their involvement in treatmentOrient new patients to facility, program, and settingAssist with clerical and administrative assignments to support patient care, program, and organization operationsAccompanies and transports patients as assignedSchedule:Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 12:00pm - 8:30pmThursday, and Friday from 9:00am - 5:30pm Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of six (6) months experience working in a mental health or behavioral health setting preferredStrong communication skills, deep empathy, and the ability to set firm yet compassionate boundariesCurrent CPRClean background check and the ability to pass drug screenings, to include testing for marijuanaValid Driver's license and insurance requiredAbility to maintain professional boundaries Benefits Benefits package is available the first of the month following just one (1) month of employment!
