Mental Health Technician / Driver
Position Overview
As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment for our clients. This position entails direct client interaction as well as behind-the-scenes support to ensure the smooth operation of daily programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, observe, and interact with clients in a supportive and professional manner.
- Transport clients to and from programming.
- Provide assistance to clinical and program staff as needed.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment, including assisting in crisis interventions when necessary.
- Support the implementation of treatment plans by reinforcing therapeutic goals.
- Communicate effectively with staff through verbal updates and written documentation (e.g., email).
- Attend team meetings, site meetings, and monthly staff calls.
- Complete all required trainings and certifications.
- Aid in the onboarding and training of new Mental Health Technicians.
- Observe and report behavioral and emotional needs to the clinical team.
- Assist in client interventions when appropriate.
- Orient new clients to the program and daily schedule.
- Ensure clients are appropriately supervised at all times.
- Maintain professional boundaries and foster a positive therapeutic atmosphere.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Valid driver's license.
- Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health-related field; Experience in mental health treatment.

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (approximately)
Pay
$17-$18 per hour depending on experience.
