Responsibilities
- Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment
- Facilitates group sessions
- Supports overall treatment plans
- Performs supportive, trauma-informed care
- Monitors patient behavior
- Completes routine safety checks
- Provides assistance with activities of daily living
- Documents appropriately
- Facilitates therapeutic groups
- Assists with programming
- Collaborates with the treatment team
- Participates in discharge planning
Qualifications
- Associates degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavioral health or healthcare setting
- Experience working with patients with mental health or substance use disorders preferred
- CPI or other crisis intervention training preferred or required within 90 days of hire
