Mental Health Support Specialist Relief Staff (Blaine, MN)

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered engagement and interventions
• Administer medication as per policy and procedure
• Provide general program oversight and safety

Requirements

• Physical presence onsite required
• Must have knowledge of and ability to document in EHR and program-specific systems
• Must be able to interact effectively and exhibit professional behavior
• Must be able to administer medication safely and according to policy
• Must be able to provide crisis intervention and de-escalation
• Must be able to teach and coach independent living skills
• Part of an on-call rotation for full-time staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Minnesota Driver’s License
• Current CPR certification
• Current First Aid certification
• Current Minnesota State Licensure as a Mental Health Technician (MHTE)

Benefits

• Hiring bonus of $1,000 for external candidates
• Shift differential of $1/hour for shifts between 3:00pm-11:00pm AND 11:00pm-7:00am

Pay

$20.50/Hour

Schedule

Minimum of 16 hours every 2 weeks, with a specific schedule determined based on program needs. A portion of shifts will be pre-planned, and the remainder is flexible.
