Mental Health Provider (Psychiatric PA or NP) - Allen, TX

Geode Health is a rapidly growing, national provider of outpatient mental health services with a mission to “Transform mental health by making it more accessible, affordable and effective.” We are actively recruiting passionate Advanced Practice Providers (Psychiatric PA or PMHNP) in the greater [geographic region] market to partner with us in achieving that mission.

As a Behavioral Health Provider, you will deliver psychiatric healthcare services, including initial mental health evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy based on patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial mental health evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide medication management
• Deliver supportive psychotherapy as clinically appropriate
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records using an EMR system
• Collaborate with an integrated care team, including psychiatrists and mental health therapists, to coordinate medication management and psychotherapy
• Utilize a measurement-based care approach to track outcomes and inform treatment plans

Requirements

• Active Psychiatric PA or PMHNP license in the state of [state]
• One year of professional work experience (required for Psych PA’s; preferred for PMHNPs)
• Active DEA license
• Experience working in an outpatient setting (preferred)
• Proficiency in using an EMR system
• Ability to treat a general spectrum of mental health conditions
• Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Passion for high-quality care and evidence-based practices
